Conor McGregor vs. Chad Mendes @UFC 189 in Las Vegas, Nevada

The main event of the evening with the Irish-Superstar Conor McGregor also known as „The Notorious“ against the American Chad Mendes also known as „Money“ was a great show.

First of all superfighter José Aldo should fight in the cage against the Irish McGregor but Aldo refused with an injured rib unfortunately close to showtime.

Nethertheless: 2 excellent MMA-fighters in the octagon with McGregor running the show and thousands of Irish-Fans created a great atmosphere for the main fight of the evening.

„Money“ controlled wrestled hart and dominant in the first two rounds and nearly smothered the Irish folk hero McGregor but all in all a lopping left hand hit Chad Mendes hard and he crashed down to the mat.

Now the „The Notorious“ followed up on Mendes at the cage-bottom and hit him hard with further hard beatings until referee Herb Dean waived Chad Mendes off.

The Hero from Dublin in Ireland wins the interim 145-pound title, enjoys the fruits of his labour and all the thousand Irish people watching live celebrate Conor „Notorious“ McGregor.

Chad Mendes comment to the fight against „The Notorious“: „This guy is tough!“ and „these Irish are crazy and i absolutely love it. We had so much support like this with everyone here its just unbelievable to see you guys show so much support for your athlets and this is just completely awesome for me. This is the biggest fight in the UFC history and i got to come in here you know and be a part of this. So this is just something that i you know i will never forget in my life.“

The McGregor fighting-style is Boxing, Taekwondo, Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, Capoeira and Chad Mendes style is Wrestling.

Now super-fighter Conor McGregor is looking forward to the biggest fight in the history of the UFC against José Aldo.
